Ṣadaqah means charity. The term Ṣadaqah is used for Zakat (Qurʾān, 9:60) as well as Ṣadaqah Wājibah (such as Ṣadaqah al-Fiṭr, Kaffārah, Fidyah, Nadhr) and Ṣadaqah Nāfilah (optional charity).
